Parliament Hill School

In winter '22, our team member Claudia raised money for 850 trees at her local school. The trees were planted in March along the fence that separates the school from a busy road. The summer was challenging but after we and some volunteers stepped in, most of the saplings survived. It showed us the importance of aftercare - having helpers, access to the site and water are crucial in the first couple of years.
Another small pocket forest will be planted in February '23.
